CIAMBELLA

A hybrid of dessert and sweet bread. Our recipe uses lemon zest, vanilla and anise extract. Each region in Italy has their own version of Ciambella, but we prefer ours, which has been passed down from our relatives in Sant’Arcangelo di Romagna, Italy (which they refer to as Zambala).
